Caring for Others ✝ Achieving Excellence
The St John's Home School Association is a social and fundraising organisation for parents, staff and governors. Our role is to link home and school and provide social and fundraising events at our school. There is an Annual General Meeting at the start of the academic year which all parents are invited to.
We exist to promote goodwill and co-operation between home and school. Our main task is fund raising. We organise a number of events throughout the year, such as the Christmas Fair, Summer Fun Day and the ever popular discos. We also support various other school events throughout the year.
In recent years the money raised has been spent in a variety of ways, including indoor/outdoor play equipment and a class set of iPads for the whole school to use. In addition to this we have just given £7500 to go towards the new school library and subsidised the coach costs for the whole school pantomime trip.
We will be working towards further projects throughout the next year that will benefit all of the children across the school.
There are so many ways in which you can help the HSA.
You can either join the committee. Input your ideas at our regular meetings.
You can assist at events. We are always looking for helpers to make our events a success. Help in setting up, manning stalls, selling tickets etc is always appreciated.
If time is a problem, you can still help out by joining our LOTTERY or just by SHOPPING ONLINE !
The school lottery is open to everybody not just parents and friends of St John's. It is drawn weekly on a Saturday and you can enter for just £1 a week. There is a guaranteed winner from our tickets each week but additionally you will be entered into a national lottery with a prize pool of £25,000 each week.

You can also register St John the Evangelist HSA as your chosen charity on Easy Fundraising. Every time you shop with a participating retailer (there are over 3,300) the school earns a percentage donation of your spend at no cost to you. What could be easier??
We look forward to working together collectively over the forthcoming year to raise further funds for our children's school.
Please feel free to contact us in person or via email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
